No commission from distributors. Ever.

Get in front of the brands, before they pick someone else.

Compass is the database our team works from when an international brand asks who they should sell with in China. If you distribute, operate stores or import for a living, this is how you get onto that list.

What being listed costs you.

Nothing. There is no listing fee, no membership, no paid tier, and no commission on any deal that comes out of an introduction. We bill the brand for the search work. You are never invoiced and you never owe us a referral cut.

That is deliberate, and it is the reason the database is worth anything. The moment a partner can pay to move up a list, the list stops being a recommendation and starts being an ad. Brands work that out quickly.

Who we list.

Distributors across general trade, bonded zones and cross-border eCommerce. Tmall and Douyin Partners running flagship stores, content commerce and livestream. Importers with licences, customs setup and warehousing. Offline operators with real shelf access: KA buyers, regional wholesalers, group-buying operators.

The consumer categories we place into most often:

BeautyFood and beverageFashionHomeWellnessMother and babyPetSupplements

Mostly B2C, with B2B when the buyer is in China. If your category is not on that list it is worth writing anyway, because the brief that arrives next month decides what we go looking for.

What happens after you write.

Somebody from the team reads it and comes back. If there is a fit, we set up a call and then, wherever we can, a visit. A profile in Compass is built from a meeting, not from a form, which is the whole point of the thing. Expect questions about the categories you actually run rather than the ones on your website, the channels where you have real volume, your commercial terms, and the brands you have worked with.

We do not publish the brands we have placed. Our clients did not sign up to be a reference wall, and a distributor list that doubles as a client list is a fast way to lose both. On a call we can be specific about categories, channels and the kind of mandate that tends to come through.

Being listed is not a promise of introductions. It means that when a brief lands in your category, your name is in the room.
