The range Corn chips in China

A tortilla brand with a new snack to sell

Mission Foods makes Mexican food from fresh ingredients and simple recipes. In China it sells more than tortillas: there’s also a range of corn chips with real Mexican flavor and crunch, made for casual snacking or for guests.

Our job was the launch. We led the social campaigns for the corn chips and kept content coming on WeChat, Weibo, and RED (Xiaohongshu) the whole time.

What the launch had to solve

A range to introduce

The corn chips were new to the Chinese market, so the content had to explain them first.

A Gen Z audience

Young snackers with an appetite for new flavors. Messaging had to match their values and how they live.

Three platforms

WeChat, Weibo, and RED each needed a steady flow of posts.

Local tastes

The chips had to fit Chinese food habits in a way that felt authentic and respectful.

The content Snacking moments

Corn chips, on a Chinese table

We built the strategy around snacking moments that match local tastes. Some posts showed how versatile the chips are. Others worked them into traditional Chinese snacks and meals.
